ACHIEVEMENTS

The Zeta Mu Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi strives for success in all pursuits within and beyond the borders of Appalachian State University. Across the spectrum of academics, athletics, social activities, philanthropic volunteering, and involvement in organizations, our chapter as a whole and our sisters as individuals are dedicated to giving back to the community and representing Alpha Delta Pi to the best of our abilities. We believe in becoming well-rounded women who continue to inspire each other every day.

Just one example of how we encourage and promote scholarship, we offer exclusive and quiet study rooms in the library, as well as opportunities for our members to tutor one another and learn together. Here at Alpha Delta Pi, we celebrate academic success. We have various incentives to motivate our members to maintain their grades and to continue to prosper in their schoolwork. As some of our new members transition from high school to college courses, the resources provided by Alpha Delta Pi ensure that this change is effortless. No matter her major, class, or year in school, each and every sister in our chapter values her academic accomplishments.

Alpha Delta Pi is something that you are, not something that you become, and we are a community that unites a diverse group of women with a variety of interests and talents. At our core, we are motivated by pure intentions and are devoted to service to others. Our sisters utilize their passions in order to contribute to and to strengthen not only our chapter but also the world around us. Highly encouraged to be involved and well-rounded, our sisters strive for success by joining and leading organizations and clubs on campus and within Boone. With the help of our Leadership Engagement Specialist, our members receive the necessary information and leadership workshops to network effectively while finding their perfect place in the community and limitless opportunities to lead.

As a chapter and as individuals, Alpha Delta Pi is proud to be recognized for excellence in scholarship, leadership, philanthropy, and sisterhood. Throughout Appalachian State University and across Alpha Delta Pi, the Zeta Mu chapter has consistently been honored for its commitment to academic achievement, campus involvement, and chapter excellence.

This year, Zeta Mu was awarded the Golden Lion Award, Alpha Delta Pi's highest national honor, recognizing chapters that exemplify excellence in every aspect of chapter operations and member experience. Prior to receiving this distinction, our chapter earned national recognition through the Panhellenic Excellence, Operations Excellence, Philanthropy Excellence, Finance Excellence, History Reporting Excellence, Recruitment Excellence, and Membership Experience Excellence awards.

Our chapter was also recognized at Appalachian State University's Fraternity & Sorority Life Awards, receiving Panhellenic Chapter of the Year and Program of the Year.

Academically, Zeta Mu continues to set the standard for excellence. Our chapter has earned the highest Panhellenic GPA for the past two consecutive semesters, demonstrating our members' dedication to academic success while remaining actively involved in leadership, service, and campus life.

These achievements reflect the passion, hard work, and unwavering support our sisters provide one another each day. Living out our open motto, "We Live For Each Other," the women of Alpha Delta Pi encourage one another to grow as scholars, leaders, and friends. We are incredibly proud of all that our chapter has accomplished and remain committed to building on this legacy of excellence.
